Pennsylvania Tourism Signing PROGRAM

FEES

All prices subject to change without notice.

Program Fees

Each Participant pays the same fee to join the Signing Program, based on the number of mainline, ramp and trailblazers required to direct motorists from the interstate to the facility. Mainline cost: $7,000; Ramp cost: $250.00; Trailblazer cost: $200.00 for food, gas, lodging and campgrounds; $650.00 for TODS attractions. This fee is a one time fee that is charged to the Participant. Additional up front costs are the fabrication of the logos by the Participant. The Trust provides a list of approved sign companies from which to choose to have your logo fabricated. The Trust's contractor installs the logos at no charge to the Participant.

*NOTE: To be eligible for these programs, businesses must comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations concerning public accommodations.

Annual Fees

An annual fee is charged to each Participant, based on the number of mainline, ramp and trailblazer logos required for the businesses. Annual fee invoices are mailed in October of each year with payment due by the first of the following year. Normally, the first year's annual fee is pro-rated, based on when the logos are installed. TODS attraction trailblazers are exempt from annual fees. The annual fees are set at $288.64* for each mainline, $146.33* for each ramp and trailblazer (for attraction, food, lodging, camping & gas). The annual fee is increased yearly based on the cost of living index.

Bumping Fees

The business that initiates the bumping process will pay a $1,500 fee. If that business is not rewarded the bump, they will be refunded the entire $1,500 bumping fee. The new participant that is awarded the bump shall then pay the $1,500 fee. If the business that initiated the bumping process is not successful and no other business participates (the panel remains as is), the $1,500 fee will not be refunded.

Additional Fees

Since the logo remains the property of the Participant, the Participant is responsible for replacing any damaged, stolen or faded logos. In the event the logo is damaged or stolen, the Participant is responsible for fabrication costs only. If the logo needs replaced due to fading or business name change, the Participant is responsible for both the fabrication costs and fee charged by the Trust contractor to remove and install new logos. The contractor is hired by the Trust, bills the Trust, whom in turn bills the Participant.
